Our Client is an international professional services company. Their people deliver innovative solutions by combining technical skill and experience with an understanding of their clients’ objectives and aspirations. They serve the global market sectors of Infrastructure, Mining & Industry and the Environment. They are currently required Geotechnical Engineer to join their company.



1. Geotechnical Engineer
(Kalimantan Role)

Key Responsibilities:

* Budgeting, planning and implementation of open pit slope monitoring program and development.
* Collecting data for high walls and dumps slope design to obtain its design parameters.
* Understanding the way the slopes deform during the excavation process.
* Maintain geotechnical database and slope register.
* Review and analysis of pit and dump design slopes, slope monitoring, technical analysis, and managing slope instabilities.
* Investigate geotechnical failures and provide recommendations to operations.
* Liaise with geotechnical contractor and consultant for specific tasks.
* Liaise with mine planning, blasting engineer and geologist on geotechnical issues.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Geological Engineering / Mining Engineering / Geophysics or related discipline.
* Having experience minimum 3 years in geotechnical monitoring and analysis, preferably in more than one open cut mining environment.
* Competence in the use of geotechnical software and computer literate.
* Experienced working on major projects with major clients.
* Applicants must be willing to work at Balikpapan and Kalimantan.
* 2 Full-Time positions available.
* Applicants should be Indonesian citizens or hold relevant residence status.

2. Earthworks Supervisor
(Jakarta Raya)

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure earthworks construction activities follow to approval drawing, schedule, and specification.
* Check and review method statement each earthworks activities before start work from contractor on site.
* Coordinate with the client and contractor representative in the contractor activities.
* Monitor daily, weekly and monthly progress and schedule.
* Join inspection with client and contractor, check list problem site and took way out, and ensure client should be satisfied.
* Coordinate with the contractor’s representatives for site control.
* Supervising all earth works (excavation left bank and right bank).
* Coordinate assistance with survey and design controls.

Requirements:

* Minimum Bachelor degree of Civil engineering and others, from reputable university.
* Minimum 5 years experience in supervisor level for major coal mining projects.
* Having good knowledge of land clearing, cut clearing, grubbing, cutting balance, land clearing, compaction test, canal work, road shaping, and other earthworks.
* Experienced in direct, manage, plan, monitor, control and supervise to ensure appropriate earthworks and recommendation are produced and implemented in timely manner, high quality, safely and economically in order to minimize risks of instabilities in the pit, dump and infrastructures that will impact production interruption and fatal accident.
